By Borja Bes — CrossFit Athlete & Hyrox Finisher
Easy jump rope work raises the heart rate and prepares the calves, ankles, wrists, and timing for the session. If a rope is unavailable or impact is not appropriate, marching or high knees can provide a similar temperature-building option. Use it to raise temperature, rehearse clean positions, and prepare the joints without creating fatigue before the main workout.
Quick answer
Jump Rope Warm-Up is best used when the workout goal matches its main demand: cardio & jump rope capacity, clean mechanics, and scalable intensity.
