I have been training CrossFit for over five years. Not as a professional, not as a coach — as someone who shows up to the box, puts in the work, and has learned through repetition what kinds of programming actually produce results versus what just looks good on paper.
Hyrox came into my training a few years in and changed the way I think about conditioning entirely. Running under fatigue, carrying real loads, maintaining efficiency when your legs are already gone — it is a completely different challenge from a standard WOD, and I have finished multiple races chasing a better understanding of what that challenge actually demands.
I built WODBuilders because the problem of finding a good workout is, frankly, unsolved. Most generators produce random combinations of exercises with no logic behind the pairing. Most databases require you to already know what you want. What I wanted was something that understood training intent — warm-up, main piece, cool-down — and could produce that reliably across CrossFit, Hyrox, Tabata, and home gym formats.
Every guide on this site reflects what I have learned as an athlete, what has worked for me in competition prep, and what the better coaches and programmers I have trained under have taught me. I will tell you what the movement standard actually requires, what mistakes I made early on, and what I wish someone had explained clearly from the beginning.

Why WODBuilders Exists
The generator came first. I wanted something that could produce a complete, logically structured session — with a warm-up that actually prepares you for the main piece, not just five minutes of stretching before a thruster workout. The training guides followed because the questions athletes ask most often are not complicated; they just do not have clear answers in one place.
WODBuilders is free because access to good programming should not require a premium subscription. The generator handles CrossFit formats, Hyrox-style conditioning, Tabata protocols, and home gym sessions. You pick your level and equipment; it handles the logic.
